Enchanted Violin

This is what artists were created for: to make food to feed the soul.  To propogate sound, life, and color in barrenness.

The hexoganal rocks were inspired by the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland, and also by Amateria: an age in Myst III: Exile.  Yes, I love the Myst games.  So many haunting and breathtaking worlds.   I wish they were still making those games!

This is a renewal of an old painting I did in 2008:

Ergh.  This was my rediscovery of watercolors, and I was so anxious to start painting that I didn’t bother to take any reference photos for the drapery or the body.   Or sketch a background.   Patience is a virtue.

Perhaps in another two years I’ll do another version of my violin girl.
