About the Artist

Since I was first able to pick up a pencil, I have been an artist and a writer. My first book was “Bread is Gud,” written at the age of four.

In 2008 I graduated magna cum laude from Florida Statue University with a B.A. in Music and a minor in French. While I was pursing a degree in music, I worked as a face painter and entertainer at children’s birthday parties. I also experimented with oils, watercolors, pastels, and pencil.

I work mainly in watercolors on acid-free illustration board, blending realistic art with fantastical subjects. I love painting anything whimsical, fantastical, odd or wonderful. Occasionally I create papercraft dolls and puppets.
